Also the Freight Forwarding Experts its offer to customers to choose their method freight either by sea or air or land.
From 1996 onward Agility has developed promptly through biological growth and over next three years the company has purchase of other logistics companies such as (UAE-based Tristar Transport, Singaporean company Trans-Link Group, Swiss company Cronat Transport Holding AG, Globe Marine Services of Saudi Arabia, Cosa Freight in China, Kenya-based Star freight, and US-based companies Transoceanic Shipping and Geologists Corporation, WTS of Houston, Inc., and Global Express Line) http://www.agilitylogistics.com/EN/Pages/Agility_AboutUs_Our_Logistics_Business.aspx).
In 2006 the company unified its service under the new name of Agility. During the next three years the company has evolved a lot and it was named a top ten 3PL also named to the Boston Consulting Group’s list of “global challengers”, In addition to that Agility has more than 22,000 employees in over 550 offices and 100 countries worldwide and annual revenues of close to $6 billion. According to that Agility Logistics must have their Owen vision, mission and values so their vision is to be a new type of logistics leader meeting the challenges of global trade, mission is to facilitate trade through innovative supply chain solutions and values is integrity, personal ownership, teamwork and excellence.
1. Although Agility logistics is a shipment company, it had corporate social responsibility (CSR) awards because of their humanitarian aid and social assistance to the various countries of the world. In my opinion I believe that they should not take the money of investors without their permission. However, it would be a nice step from the investors if they gave a part of their profits to the humanitarian efforts.
2. It was amazing to read and learn more about Agility’s achievement that match and support CSR activates such as refurbishing schools, support a cancer treatment, teaching life skills, mentoring students, transporting and distributing food for needy people. The humanitarian and emergency logistics program included moving food containers to help the victims of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, and wars in Pakistan, china, Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq, Myanmar, U.S., Philippines, and Bangladesh. Green steps initiatives included eliminating millions of plastic bottles. Humanitarian and emergency logistics was the most thing that catch my attention, because it’s contains a tremendous effort to help people who suffer from natural disasters and wars. From my point of view, it is the most dungarees job because it leaves the people under threats of either natural disasters or war.
3. Refer to company policy employees may never accept gifts of money. Employee may, however, accept unsolicited non-monetary gifts provided they are items of nominal value but Any gift having more than a nominal value which exceeds an amount as is ordinary and customary in the industry in the country where you are operating, even if unsolicited, must be reported to the Compliance Officer. I don’t agree with this policy because if the employee takes gift having more than nominal value will motivate him to work hard and increase the productivity of the company even if the employee accept unsolicited non-monetary gifts it will increase his effectiveness to work
In conclusion, saw that this company's fine as it aspires to be one of the best companies in the world and I hope to have the opportunity to work for them because their work is not confined only to maritime transport, but has expanded its activities instance, acts governed charitable and investment, etc. It also includes a wide range of staff in various languages and cultures the world and the proof is that the company has more than one branch in the Eastern Mediterranean, Europe, Africa and around the world for this I hope to work with and gain experience
